| The pictures below show two larger views of the Old Hopalong Cassidy William Boyd Cowboy Hero Character Toy Wyandotte Revolver Gun & Holster in this lot. The toy gun and holster are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1950s. There is one gun, but the holster can have two. We do not know if this gun goes with this holster or not. They are as they were found in a large Hoppy and other Cowboy hero collection that we had acquired. The toy gun was once gold colored metal, but some of that color has worn off. It has some fancy scrollwork. It has black plastic grips on both sides that have images of Hoppy, and they are marked “Y&.” (for Wyandotte) and “HOPALONG CASSIDY”. The trigger and hammer work well. The gun does open to use roll caps. Inside is also marked “OIL MECHANISM 2”. The holster is made of black and white leather with metal rivets, and a badge type ornament with metal and a red plastic jewel. There ia a white plastic section at the top that will hold three toy bullets (not included). Both of these Hopalong Cassidy items for one price! To judge the sizes the toy gun measures about 8-1/2'' long. They could use a good cleaning, but the gun and holster appear to be very good used condition as pictured. |
