| | | The picture below shows a larger view of the Set of (4) Unused ©1946 Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection C. Carey Cloud Punch Out Doll Figure Paper Prizes in this lot. The bonus that is included is not pictured. It is a detailed miniature version of the top left card pictured that was custom made by someone for me. Artist and Designer C. Carey Cloud was a prize Designer for Cracker Jack from 1937 to the early 1960s. He had designed hundreds of prizes throughout the depression, World War II and beyond. The novelty toy prizes were made of mainly tin or paper before and after WWII, paper during this time because of war shortages, and mostly of paper and injection molded plastic after the war. The Cracker Jack ID number for these prizes was Z-0394. The complete set of (4) dolls are on die cut cards and they have not been punched out. There is a Red Ridinghood nursery rhyme character, a black Mammy character, one with a doll, and one with a kitten or cat. All of these for one price! The prize cards each measures about 3-7/8'' x 2-5/8''. The miniature bonus card is not a real Cracker Jack Prize. It resembles a more modern 1960s Cracker Jack prize. It is very well made and it measures 1-7/8'' x 1-5/16''. They all appear to be in mint unused condition as pictured. |
