The picture shows the cover and (11) sample pages of this GREAT ©1938 KAESER & BLAIR Printing And Novelty Catalog. There are (192) pages total. Sorry for the long download time, but it is worth it. I only wish I could show and describe more! Most of the pages are a graphic work of art themselves! This catalog represents some of the very best printed matter of its time. I believe the company is still in operation. The book has printed pages of their work as well as many printed examples attached inside throughout the book. Please bear with the long description. There is a lot in this book covering many areas.

The spiral bound book begins with some company interior and employee photos. It then has many gold and silver printed pages for Metal Trade Checks, Slot Machine Coins, Good For Tokens, and Spinner Premium Coins. There are gold and platinum pages for Signs, Labels, Bottle Labels, Gummed Labels, Die cut Labels, Food and Medicine Labels. There are samples included. After that there are many colorful pages (again with samples) full of Die cut Stickers, Advertising Price Stickers, Advertising Shipping Labels, Illustrated Advertising Stickers (most are very graphic), many Stock Stickers including Medicines and Poisons. There are even many Gummed Drug Labels for the Pharmacy / Drug business.

The book then moves into many different printed matter areas (with many samples) such as: Letterhead, Billhead, Envelopes, Menus, Menu Covers, Restaurant Receipts, Coat Checks, Cashier Checks, Drinking Cups, Desk Blotter Pads, Napkins, Hotel Forms, Made to order forms, and More! The next area is with complete Stationery Sets (with samples). Advertising Cards, Business Cards, Glassine Envelopes, Graphic Two-Sided Advertising Business Cards, Risque Cards, Joke Cards, Meal Tickets, Beauty Parlor and Service Station Tickets, Ink Pen Blotters (with sample), and Condolence Cards as well as Funeral Windshield Flags.

Next is a section with some samples of Tags such as Radio Repair Tags, Parking Tags, Cleaning and Tailoring Tags, and many more! In this area I also see an Advertising Post Card. There are different tags such as Dairy Milk Bottle Tags, Utility Tags, Shipping Tags, Hotel and Parking Tags. There are samples of Order and Sales Book Slips. Some of the samples include Sinclair Gasoline and Oil, Bakery, Hardware, Dairy & Ice Cream, a Bank, Service Station, and Auto Parts.

There is then a section with a few samples of Receipts and Receipt Books. After that Printed Gummed Tape (with samples). There are many office supplies pictured such as: Dispensers, Scales, Stapler, Pencil Sharpener, Receipt Holders, Seals, Stamps, Ledger Books, Typewriter Supplies, and Binders. There are Window Display items, as well as Door Brass Plates.

There is a larger office supply section with Desk, File Cabinets, Cabinets, Card Cabinets, Typewriter Stand, Waste Basket, and even a Cuspidor! The next section is one of my favorites. It has many Advertising Novelties for use as premiums. First in this section are imprinted advertising balloons. I see a lot of names on them including Coca-Cola, Ford Cars, Butter Krust Bread, Rio Grande Gasoline, and more!

Next is advertising Pencils, Golf Pencils, Bullet Pencils. There are advertising Bibs, Aprons, Yardsticks, Rulers, Fly Swatters, Embossed Signs, Combs. There are tin advertising clickers including SINBAC Childrens Shoes, Tin Advertising Whistles including BUTTER-KRUST BREAD and there are Canary Chirper Whistles. There are different types of advertising Thermometers, Felt Beanie Hats, as well as Advertising Chewing Gum! Then there are Automotive Advertising Key Holders, Key Chains, Key Rings, Letter Openers, Calendar Cards, Advertising Celluloid Beer Scrapers, Nail Files, Ink Pens, Celluloid Tags and even an advertising item for a telephone mouthpiece. A few more items include an Ice Pick, Shoe Horn, Cork Screw / Bottle Opener, Baseball Schedules, and Bumper Stickers.

The last section in this book pertains solely to advertising match pack covers. There are eight pages of designs covering a wide range of areas such as Cars, Gas, Oil, Bars, Risque, Restaurants, Candy, Pharmacy, Grocery, Sports, and all sorts of businesses and products. Four pages of these were scanned and can be seen below. If you read all of this thank you for taking the time. It took a long time to type it all. This book is simply fabulous with all the samples and advertising - far too many to mention! The book has 192 + pages and measures 12-1/4" x 9" x 5/8". It is in excellent+ condition.
