They are made of either lead, pot metal or pewter. There may have been other items to this set but only the five items that are pictured are included. Included in this lot are two identical teacups covered with geometric and floral designs. These have delicate handles. There is a basket that also has floral and other designs. In the bottom are two fish. There are two identical saucer plates. These are very intricate as well. There are several repeating patterns and six scenes within ovals. All of the very detailed scenes are of a girl in a dress playing. These scenes include the following: Girl playing with a ball. There are shrubs and a fence as well. Girl playing with a hoop. There are trees and a fence as well. Girl having a picnic with a dog or cat under a tree. There is a picnic basket. Girl playing on a swing hung from two trees. There is a house and fence as well. Two girls playing jump rope. One end of the rope is tied to a tree. There is a house and shrubbery as well. Girl jumping rope by herself. There is a house with a garden, a tree and a fence as well. To judge the sizes the saucer plates each measure 3-1/2'' wide and the cups each measure 1-1/8'' tall. These range from excellent to mint as made condition. These are very delicate and will be wrapped individually very well when mailed. |
