| | | The picture shows a view of the cover of this Old Unused Sad Sack Comic Strip Character Transfer Pictures Booklet. The transfers would have been shown but to do so the cover would get bent or the staple would need to be removed. The booklet is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1940s. There are three pages with three tattoos on each inside. They are perforated like postage stamps. The tattoos are in color. They picture different characters from the famous Sad Sack comic strip. The inside cover has directions. The cover pictures Sad Sack bailing out a life raft as his Sergeant sleeps. It is marked as follows: SAD SACK LIC. BY HARVEY FAMOUS NAME COMICS, N.Y.C. TRANSFER PICTURES © GEORGE BAKER (fascimile signature) JAPAN The booklet measures 2-1/16'' x 3-1/2''. All of the transfer tattoos are present and unused. It is in mint condition as pictured. |
