The picture shows the (2) Nice Small Ship Etching Greeting Card Prints in this lot. Both of these etching prints were printed by hand using green ink. These are not reprints. They were acquired at the same time and are believed to have been made by the same person. The first one has an image of a man fishing in a rowboat near a sailing ship with land in the background. This card opens up vertically and it is blank inside. It is marked withing the design as follows: BOSTON FROM THE HARBOR HARLOW The second card has an image of a sailing ship docked next to a few rowboats or dinghies. There are also stone walls and buildings as well. The printed section is a half front page and opens horizontally. Some holly leaves are drawn and it is hand signed as follows: FROM ELEANOR CHRISTMAS - 1929 To judge the sizes, closed as seen, the first one measures 6-1/4" x 4-1/8". They are in near mint condition with a little age discoloration. |
