This is a (12) page booklet from 1969 that was made to be mailed. There is no address filled in and it was never sent. The cover has an old Indianapolis Motor Speedway logo, and image of Tony Hulman and an image of what appears to be the entrance to the speedway. Next there are a few images of race starts. There is a short History of the race from 1911 to 1969. There is a 1968 image of Bobby Unser in his car. The center has a nice two page aerial view of the race track as well as a list of all of the Indianapolis 500 winners from 1911 to 1968. There are museum images of many of the older winning race cars. There is information on tickets, Rookie driving tests, winning cars, and flag signals. There is advertising and an image on the back for The Speedway Motel and Golf Course. The booklet measures 7'' x 8-7/8''. It is in mint condition as pictured. |
