The picture below shows a larger view of the (2) Old Western Cowboy Gum Ball Machine Prize Flicker or Lenticular Toy Rings in this lot. There were many different Cowboy toy rings that were used as radio, cereal, and gumball machine prizes from the 1930s to the 1960s. They were also used and giveaways by Cowboy heroes such as The Lone Ranger, Gene Autry, Hopalong Cassidy, Roy Rogers and more... Cowboy rings were also used as rodeo souvenirs, circus souvenirs, carnival prizes, five and dime store toys, or more. These particular plastic rings were used as toy prizes in 1950s and 1960s gumball machines. These are generic cowboy or not character specific rings. These rings are not marked but they were probably made by the Vari-Vue company. They are identical except one is green and one is yellow. They have the same moving flicker image. There is a cowboy inside a building and one riding on a horse outside. The cowboy is drawing his gun and firing at the rider. Both of these for one price! To judge the sizes the face of the rings measure 3/4'' wide. The rings appears to be in mint condition as pictured.
