The picture shows several views of this Old Charms Candy Santa Claus Candy Container. It is not dated but believed to be from the 1920's or 1930's.

This candy container has a Santa Claus coming out of a chimney. His clothes are made of a felt like material, but I'm not sure what his face is made from. There is an old tinsel like ribbon wrapped on it. The box is empty and made of printed cardboard. It is marked on the bottom as follows:

CHARMS
MANUFACTURED IN CANADA BY
WALTER M. LOWNEY CO. LIMITED
MONTREAL CANADA
UNDER CONTRACT WITH
CHARMS CO. NEWARK, N.J.
NET. WGT. 1-1/4 OZS. OR OVER
PTD. IN CANADA

Counting the Santa figure it measures only 3-1/2" tall. It is in excellent condition.
