There are three pictures showing a view of all (14) 1968 London, England Color Photographs in this lot. Many of these have notes written on the back. One photo is of banners and flags hanging above a city street. The center one reads: "CARNABY STREET WELCOMES THE WORLD" Other signs can be seen.Another photo is of a building "LORD JOHN" with a very colorful Peter Max looking mural painting on it.Another appears to be of a circus puppet show wagon. There is another Carnaby Street scene and a Doubledecker bus with a sign. That sign reads "Stick it in Your Family"One photo is of a colorful sign that reads: "Amsterdam Circus Heros" The same photo has a few more partial circus posters.One photo is of a parking lot with many old cars. There is one photograph of a pretty young lady in a mini skirt selling newspapers. The papers she is selling are underground newspapers. This is known from previous photos sold from the same batch. She is selling them in front of an Ice Cream - Hamburger - Hot Dog stand. There is a photo taken across from the London Zoo of some tourists and in the forground is a peanut vendor selling "PERCY DALTON'S PEANUTS"There are a few more street scenes of tourists. There is one of a nice looking Rolls Royce auto. The last two are of two London Bobbie Police Officers. They appear to be identical photos. All of these for one price! There are two size photos in this lot. One measures 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" and the other measures 3-1/2" x 5". These are in mint as made condition. |
