The picture shows a view of all (6) ©1939 Playing Card Exhibit Supply Arcade Fortune Cards in this lot. These cards were acquired in old arcade coin operated vending machines. The vending machines were usually found in arcades, on boardwalks, in amusement parks, or similar popular areas. These were made in Chicago, Illinois by The Exhibit Supply Company. The backs are all blank. They are printed in red and black ink on white card stock paper. The cards are all marked: COPYRIGHT 1939 EXHIBIT SUPPLY CO., CHICAGO., MADE IN THE U.S.A. There are (2) ''Ladies' Cards'' and (4) ''Men's cards'' in this lot. Each of these cards picture a playing card hand, and give a ladie's or men's fortune. These are not numbered and it is unknown how many are in this set, but there are (6) different cards included here. Each of the cards measure about 5-5/16'' x 3-3/8''. They appear to be in excellent used condition as pictured. There are a few tiny spots. |
