The small squares in the picture below are not on the post card. This post card is Courtesy of Twin City Service Association of Bristol Va.-Tenn.. It is marked on the two sides as follows:

The post card was mailed on September 9th, 1944 by a U. S. Army Soldier from Camp Shelby, Mississippi while he was in Knoxville, Tennessee. He mailed it to his Sweetheart in Sanford, Maine.

The postcard has a city street scene with many business and advertising signs that can be seen and read. There is an unusual old traffic light and some of the signs read as follows:

The postcard measures about 5-1/4'' x 3-1/4''. It appears to be in excellent used condition as pictured.
