| The pictures show a view of all (9) Old Howard Johnson's Restaurant & Hotel Advertising Items in this lot. There is an unused ©1959 ''Howard Johnsons In The Deep South'' advertising placemat. It has the old logo. Among many small images it marks the locations of the restaurants in the southern United States at the time. There is a large Howard Johnsons Road Map. It has The Northeastern United States on one side and the Central and Eastern States on the other. It is loaded with Howard Johnsons advertising including the names of all of their ice cream flavors around the map. It is not dated but believed to be from the 1960s or 1970s. There is a large unused Howard Johnsons Motor Lodge post card from Cypress Gardens of Lake Wales, Florida. There are (2) old unopened packets that were probably for coffee. They each have a sugar packet, stirrer, and a napkin. There are three old orange plastic logo food picks. The last item in this lot is an old advertising match cover from The Howard Johnsons Roadside Restaurant of Dedham, Massachusetts. It advertises their home made candies, pastries, and ice cream. It has no matches or striker. To judge the sizes the postcard measures about 8-1/4'' x 3-1/2''. These items range from excellent to mint condition as pictured. |
