| The pictures below show larger views of all (8) Different Old Purse Book or Booklet Type Related Items in this lot. The items are shown both closed and opened. These items are not dated. All but one of these are old. All of these items are ones that would normally be carried in a pocket or in a ladies purse. They were most likely either sold from a novelty catalog or from a store. This is an accumulated lot with a variety of items including the following: The first item has an off white plastic case with name, address, and telephone pages inside. They are held inside and pivot on a brass screw. None of the pages are filled in. The first page has some age discoloration. The plastic case is marked “JAPAN”. The second item is a miniature notebook with a steel cover. The cover would normally be closed with a miniature ink pen or pencil which is not here. There is a pad of paper inside with a couple pages from the top gone. The case is not marked. Third is a metal & orange plastic flip up address book. This one is believed to be from the 1950s or 1960s. You would move the metal arrow on the right to select a letter, then push the button on the front for the case to pop open. The pages are all unused. The case is not marked. There is an old price sticker still on the back. Fourth is another similar metal & plastic flip up address book. This one is believed to be from the 1960s or 1970s. You would move the metal arrow on the right to select a letter, then push the button on the front for the case to pop open. The pages are all unused. The case is not marked. There are colorful flowers on the front and back. Fifth is an old unused paper address book. The inside back cover has a crest and it is marked as follows:

MADE IN TAIWANThe sixth item here is a “Scatter Joy” Flip Notes notebook case. This is the one newer item in this lot. The metal case has an imprinted image on the front. When you remove the miniature pen, the case springs open. Inside is an unused pad of white paper. The pen is not writing and it may need a new cartridge. It is marked as follows:

(website address)The seventh item is a plastic box that has a reminder inside of what to pick up at the store. The little white pegs lift up and go down by the grocery storage items. There are two elephant heads picturd inside. There should be a note pad inside but it is missing, just the bacl of it is present. Besides the grocery list items, it is marked as follows:

All of these items for one price! To judge the sizes the blue grocery box measures about 3-1/2'' x 5-3/8''. The items appear to range from good to excellent condition as pictured and described above. |
