The picture shows all (6) Old Native People Photographs in this lot. Please note that Time Passages Nostalgia Company is not prejudice, discriminating, or racist in any way, and does not promote such. These are being offered as photos that are a part of American and World History. Beginning at the left, the first photo is believed to be of a Native American Seminole Indian man. He appears to be carving a small boat or canoe. The back is marked with a stamp that is dated "JAN 18 1936", and also marked with the Photographers name "A. WIEBOLDT, SANFORD, FLA.". The second photograph has a man with an elaborate headress, a shield, and a spear. It is marked on the bottom: "NO. 237 JALUO SOLDIER". The third has a view of a topless and bald woman. She is wearing necklaces and larged pierced earrings. There is a grass hut or building behind her. The fourth photo is of a man who is carrying some sort of pack, a bow, and arrows. He has necklaces and is wearing very lille of anything else. The bottom is marked: "572. RUANDA THE BOLD NATIVE (TANGANYIKA). The bottom left photo is of (15) people including (3) children. In the center appears to be baskets full of food. On the back is something written by hand that is difficult to read. The best I can make out is "STVUT SCENE - MADCAR" (spelling ?). The last photo included in this lot is of two young children in front of a home. On the back written by hand is: "PIRATORI". All of these for one price! To judge the sizes the largest photo measures 4-1/8" x 3-1/4". They range from excellent to mint as made condition. |
