The pictures show the (2) Large Old Movie Theatre Concession / Candy Stand Photographs in this lot. Two of them show the large photos and the other two show closer views. Both photographs are very clear that the candy bar wrappers can be read. One photo shows a front view of this old concession stand. The other shows a view from the side. It is built of glass blocks with a nice Art Deco look. The location is unknown but it appears to be built in a movie theatre lobby. There is a lot of product advertising on display inside. The photos are not dated but are believed to be from the 1930's or 1940's. There is a movie poster that can be seen inside with the movie title "Big Town Scandal". The stand sold lots of candies, Pop Corn, Ice Cream, and Soda. Surprisingly there is no Cracker Jack. I will list here some of the many brands seen in the photographs: Coca-Cola Root Beer Candy Cupboard Oh Henry Old Nick Canada Mints Jujyfruits Clark Bars Thin Mints Cashews Hershey's Milk Chocolate Mixed Nuts Baker's Milk Chocolate Advance Sky Bar Ice Cream Popcorn And Many More! The photographs measure 10" x 8". They are in excellent condition with a matching wrinkle in the center. |
