| The pictures below show larger front and back views of all (6) 1800s Sweet Caporal Cigarettes Premium Pretty Lady Trading Cards in this lot. Similar to baseball cards, these had once been used as a premium in packages of cigarettes. They are not dated but are believed to be from the 1880s or 1890s. Each has a photograph of a woman mounted on a card. These may be theatre actresses or singers of the day. Each has a name at the bottom of the photo. In the order pictured they are marked as follows: ALICE TACK

MORE SOLD THAN ALL OTHER BRANDS COMBINED. The cards vary slightly in size and the largest one measures about 1-1/2'' x 2-5/8''. These appear to be in excellent condition. The bottom center one has some corner damage as pictured. |
