The picture below shows a larger view of all (7) Old Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Pot Metal or Lead Toy Prize U.S. Navy Ships & Boats in this lot. These here are of the pot metal or lead type. They were made plain with no finish, inked, and painted. See below for the Cracker Jack prize ID number for these if there is one.

Many of the pot metal or lead prizes were manufactured by the Tootsietoy Company of Chicago, Illinois. There were other companies, including from Japan prior to World War II. Some of these type prizes were made specifically for Cracker Jack, while others were made as novelties, bought in volume, and used as prizes by The Cracker Jack Company. Pot metal or lead prizes were some of the earliest prizes that were used in Cracker Jack boxes from the 1910s to the late 1940s. Many of these type prizes or novelties were also sold out of old Johnson Smith & Company catalog as well as some other early novelty catalogs, also used in fortune telling sets, and some were also sold and used as board game parts. Many of these can be found factory painted, inked, or with no finish at all.

1941 / 1942 Cruiser or Battleship, red paint, Z-0942, Tootsietoy Company, Chicago, Illinois.
1941 / 1942 Cruiser or Battleship, green paint, Z-0942, Tootsietoy Company, Chicago, Illinois.
1920s Cruiser or Battleship, red ink.
1920s Cruiser or Battleship, silver (no finish).
1940s Cruiser or Battleship, silver paint.
1930s Tugboat, red paint, ZP-0021 & A-0029, Cosmo Manufacturing Company of Chicago, Illinois.
1930s Rowboat Charm, no finish.

To judge the sizes, the larger two ships each measure about 2-7/16'' x 5/8'' x 7/16''. They appear to vary from good to mint condition as pictured. The larger red ship is missing one post.
