The picture shows a few examples of the Old Collection Of Christmas Seal Stamps in this lot. First there is a ©1964 White Ace Historical Album for the Christmas Seals of the United States. Two pages from this album are pictured. There are (12) pages in the album. The stamps on the pages are hinged. The pages that are marked go from 1907 to 1964. The earlier stamps are singles and the later ones are pairs and blocks of four. The only years missing in the album are: 1907, 1908, and 1911. There are a few graphic pages with an open area for stamps. On one of those pages there are (11) different U.S. Christmas Postage Stamps. These range from 6 cent stamps to 25 cent stamps. Included in this lot is the Complimentary Souvenir Pane pictured. It is a 1932 - 1937 pane of 5th Anniversary of Korean Christmas Seals. In this lot there are a few paper items. One is a 1980 pricelist for Christmas Seals and more pages for the included Christmas Seal album. The other is a 1967 New Jersey newspaper article (with picture) of a Christmas Seal collector named Kenneth Massey. He was a friend to the collector of the stamps in this lot. WAIT THERE'S MORE!!! Also included is a bag full of Christmas stamps. In the bag they are mostly Christmas Seals, but there are also some Christmas Stamps from other Charity Organizations as well. In the bag there are sheets of stamps, panes, blocks, singles, etc.. There is a wide variety too numerous to mention. I counted them and here is a approximate total by decade: 1930's (12) 1940's (66) 1950's (26) 1960's (465) 1970's (71) 1980's (36) 1990's (162) All of these for one price! The stamps in the album appear to be in mint condition and the ones in the bag are mostly mint with a few exceptions. |
