| The pictures show a view of all (3) 1800s Milton Bradley Kindergarten School Items in this lot. All three of these were produced by the famous game manufacturer Milton Bradley. The first item is a Teacher's magazine entitled ''The Kindergarten News'' It was published by the Milton Bradley Company of Springfield, Masssachusetts in February 1895. It is Volume 5 Number 2. The magazine is filled with advertising, news, stories, and information pertaining to teaching. The cover has a beautiful Art Nouveau design as do a few of the ads inside. Some of the ads pertain to photography, school supplies, school reward cards, typewriters, pianos, and much, much more. There is even one for Walter Baker & Company for cocoa and chocolate. There are (80) pages. It is in excellent condition. The other two items in this lot are two unused packets of very colorful weaving paper. A few examples of the colors are shown. The sheets were not counted but there are many in each packet. These are all precut for weaving. These packets are also from the Milton Bradley Company. They are not dated but were found with the 1895 magazine in this lot. They are labeled as Bradley's Kindergarten Material. All f these for one price. The magazine measures 5-3/4'' x 8-5/8'' and the packets of weaving papers each measure 7-1/4'' x 7-1/8''. |
