The picture below shows a larger view of all (6) Different Small or Miniature Compass Items in this lot. These items are not dated but most of them are old. The metal toy ring on the right is marked ''JAPAN'', but the makers are all unknown.

There are (2) toy compass rings included here. The left one pictured is made of silver painted plastic with a tiny metal working compass on top. This one was probably sold in old five and dime stores, but it was also used as a gumball machine prize in the 1950s or 1960s. It has some wear to the silver paint on the back. The other toy ring is made of metal and it is older. It was made in Japan and it may have been used as a mail away premium or sold in stores.

Pictured in the center is a folding metal compass with a magnifying glass. It has a working compass. There is a hole for a loop so it can be used as a charm, a fob on a key chain, or as a necklace pendant. This one also may have been used as a character mail away premium or sold in stores.

Next,on the left is a small metalworking compass. It has a mirror, perhaps for signaling, on the other side. There is a loop on the side to use it as a charm.

At the bottom is a nice miniature brass & glass working compass charm. This one may have been made for a charm bracelet. There is a loop at the top and it has glass on both sides, but unfortunately there is a crack on each side.

The last compass included here is on the right. It is made of plastic with a clear top and fluid inside. This working compass was probably made to go inside of something, perhaps a key chain or something similar.

To judge the sizes the left measures 3/4'' wide. These appear to range from good to mint condition as pictured and described above.
