The pictures below shows three larger views of this Old Metal and Plastic Novelty Rochester Trust Company Advertising Still Coin Savings Calendar Bank. Shown is the front and back. The Rochester, New Hampshire bank is old, but it is not dated, and we do not know the year that it was made. The bank has an Art Deco design to it. It has a recessed image of the bank building, and wording in gold ink or paint. You would insert coins to change the month and date on the front. The bank was from The M. A. Gerett Corporation of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The front is made of a cream colored celluloid, or early plastic, and the back section is made of magnetic chrome plated steel metal. It has not been polished. There are two 15/16'' coin slots on the front, and a 1-7/16'' conscience (cash or currency) slot on the back, as well as a key hole. Also on the back is an unused name plate area for your name and address. It has a clear covering that goes over it. This bank does not come with any keys, because the issuing bank would have the key, to open it when you were ready to bring it in the bank, to make a deposit into your account. It is marked on the front and back as follows:

ROCHESTER TRUST COMPANY (on building)
ROCHESTER TRUST COMPANY
HEADQUARTERS FOR MORTGAGE LOANS
ROCHESTER, N.H.
MEMBER FEDERAL DEPOSIT INSURANCE CORPORATION (F.D.I.C.)
CONSCIENCE SLOT
ALL COIN CALENDAR BANK
PATENT PENDING
M. A. GERETT CORP. MILWAUKEE 5
MADE IN U.S.A.

The celluloid and steel advertising bank measures about 4-1/4'' x 3-1/4'' x 1-3/8''. It appears to be in excellent or better condition as pictured.
