The pictures show views of this Old Boxed Naval 24 Pounder Cannon Palmer Plastics Model Kit. The first picture shows the box cover. The second picture shows the opened box, the parts, and the instruction sheet. The model is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1960s. It is No. #27-1.30 by Palmer Plastics, Inc., of Brooklyn, New York. The box cover pictures an old time Sailor preparing to fire the cannon. The box and the instruction sheet advertise the ''Naval 24 Pounder'' as well as ''Civil War Field Piece'' and a ''Gatling Gun'' model kits.

To judge the sizes the box measures 11-1/2'' x 6-3/8'' x 1-3/4''. The kit appears to be in very good to excellent condition as pictured. It appears to be complete except for a replaceable rope (string). The first few pieces (cannon trucks) are glued together. Someone had stamped the cover with a small 1973 ink stamp a few times.
