The pictures show two views of this ©1943 Coca Cola Premium Our America Cotton Booklet with (20) Colorful Cards. Shown is the cover and two sample pages with (5) of the (20) cards that are inside. All (20) cards are here. The booklet and the picture cards are dated copyright MCMXLIII (1943). They are each lightly pasted at the top in their appropriate places in he booklet. The booklet is titled ''OUR AMERICA - COTTON - Material for a thousand needs''. There are other booklets to the set that pertain to different industries such as: Motion Pictures, Transportation, Oil, Coal, Electric, Steel, Glass, and Lumber.

These booklets and cards were a premium from The Coca-Cola Company and were approved by leading educators. They were distributed by The Coca-Cola Bottling Company during World War II to educate children. On the first page is a place for a childs name, Teacher, Grade, and Year. These were all filled in by a 7th grade student in 1945. There is a graphic on the back with two old Coca Cola bottles.

The colorful pictures are like trading cards. There are (20) for each industry set. Each picture card has a colorful image on the front. On the back is a number, title, information, and a Coca-Cola marking. This particular set shows many uses of cotton. The titles on the cards or stickers are as follows:

#1. Cotton Speaks For Itself
#2. He Weighs Cotton From The Field
#3. He Bands The Bales
#4. He Moves A High Density Bale
#5. The Great Machine Cleans Cotton
#6. Experts Examine Cotton
#7. 1790 Samuel Slater Set Up A Cotton Mill
#8. The Machine ''Draws'' Cotton
#9. These Are Circular Knitting Machines
#10. He Wraps Cotton For Shipment
#11. He Dyes Cotton
#12. Cotton Makes Our Flags
#13. Cotton Provides Sails For Sea And Lake
#14. Cotton Covers Books
#15. Cotton Provides Explosives
#16. Cotton Becomes Water Proof
#17. Cotton Gives Warmth
#18. Cotton Becomes Mayonaise
#19. Cotton Makes Rayon
#20. Cotton Becomes A Useful Plastic

The booklet measures about 7-7/8'' x 10-3/4'' and each picture card or sticker measures 3'' x 4''. The booklet and all the picture cards appear to be in near mint assembled condition as pictured. We found this booklet to have an old musty paper smell from many years of storage and you may want to air it out.
