| The picture below shows a larger view of this Old His and Hers Imprinted Black Glass Matching Tray Set. These curved glass trays are tinted black and are imprinted in gold and white. They were very difficult to photograph and there is more detail then the picture shows. They are not dated but they are old. They are not marked and the maker is unknown. The man's tray (top) has a border with Fleur De Lis design with four knight armor helmets. In the center are coins including a Lincoln cent, a Jefferson nickel, a Barber quarter, and the eagle of a walking Liberty half dollar. There is a pocketwatch with a chain, and cufflinks, a ring, a lighter,and a car key all with a knight's suit of armor helmet on them. The woman's or lady's tray (bottom) also has a border with Fleur De Lis design with four crowns. In the center is a make up or cosmetic compact with flowers, a lipstick with a butterfly, a lighter with a butterfly, pearl screw back earrings,a necklace with a pendant, a wrist watch, and a house key on a heart shaped keychain with vines. The glass trays each measures about 8-3/8'' x 3-7/8''. They both appear to be in mint unused condition as pictured. |
