This is a large bulk lot that has been acquired or accumulated over time from many different sources. These are all older items. There are far too many items in this lot to describe each one individually, but some highlights of the items included here are as follows: There is an old unused envelope with stationery sheet and a luggage decal from The Hotel Annapolis of Washington, D.C.. The decal is on old scrap book paper. with some care and maybe some steam it could be removed. There are (2) souvenir tickets from a tour of the United States Capitol. There is a 1957 souvenir card from an 8th grade student at Eatontown Grammar School of New Jersey. It was from a tour of Washington, D.C.. There is advertising on the back for the Asbury Park - New York Transit Corporation. There is a 1953 envelope cover with a 3 cent postage stamp from the United States Senate. Next there are (4) different unused Washington, D.C. greeting cards. They are blank inside. The images are by F. S. Lincoln and each has a title under the picture. These include: Cherry Blossom Time, Washington, D.C. The White House, Washington, D.C. The Capitol, Washington, D.C. Jefferson Memorial, Washington, D.C. There is a colorful unused Giant postcard of the ''U.S. Capitol Through The Cherry Blossoms, Washington, D.C.''. There are (2) unused souvenir water decals. One is still in its envelope. That one is of the Capitol Building. The other one has The Capitol, The Washington Monument, The Lincoln Memorial, and the White House. It has a little flaking. There is also a newer unused sticker of an eagle and the White House. It reads ''2008 Spirit of America''. There are (2) small old souvenir picture booklets. One has (12) color pictures pages from around Washington, D.C. and the other has (10). There are (3) different old unused postcard folders filled with many colorful images of Washington, D.C. These include: Souvenir Folder Of Washington District Of Columbia Washington - Our Capitol City Washington, D.C. There is a 1921 black & white photo of The Washington Monument and an old colorized photo of The Capitol Building Dome in Winter mounted on a card. There is also a print of the Capitol with spotlights and a flag in the front. It reads ''The Stars and Stripes Forever''. In addition, there are (2) small black & white picture cards from the 1920s. These read as follows: Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, D.C. Memorial Continental Hall, Washington, D.C. There is an old ''War Hospitality Committee'' guide map of Washington, D.C., an old tour brochure with a map, a guide book to the Smithsonian Institution National Museum, National Gallery, Fleer Gallery, and National Zoological Park. There is also an old unused wide post card of The White House. Next is a 1945 ''Service Men's Map of Washington'' from The U.S.O. Club and The Army Navy Y.M.C.A.. There is an old ESSO gas station advertising map of Washington. There are 1954 and 1955 Gray Line Washington, D.C. maps. There is a 1954 Washington Practical Guide book with illustrations, map, time table, pictures and much information. The last (3) items in this lot are brochures. One from The White house is from 1964, and (2) from The Washington Monument are from 1966. All of the items that are pictured are included for one price! To judge the sizes the Giant post card at the top center measures about 9'' x 7''. These items appear to range from excellent to mint unused condition as pictured. |
