The pictures below show larger views of this Rare Old Hopalong Cassidy Comic Book & Movie Cowboy Hero Character Film Camera. This box camera is not dated but it is believed to be from the early 1950s. It appears to work, but it will require any old Standard 120 type film. The shutter works. The magnifying view finder on top is fine. There is a knob at the bottom right side that removes the inside section to load film, and it also advances the film. There ia a round red window on the back, and it look like it has a place for a flash attachment on the left side. The clip and handle on the top work fine. There is no flash section, instructions, film, or box included. The front of the camera pictures Hopalong Cassidy on his horse Topper on one side, and Hoppy by himself on the other. The camera is marked as follows: HOPALONG CASSIDY GALTER PROD. CHICAGO, ILL. MADE IN U.S.A. TIME INST. USE ANY STANDARD 120 TYPE FILM Overall the camera measures about 3-5/8'' x 4-5/8'' x 5''. It appears to be excellent or better working condition as pictured. As stated above, there is no flash section, instructions, film, or box included. |
