The picture below shows a larger view of all (100) 1942 Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Plastic Novelty Toy Prize Miniature Charms in this lot. These miniature plastic charms were used as prizes in boxes of Cracker Jack in 1942. These do not have strings or cords on them. The Cracker Jack ID number for these novelty charm prizes was Z-0981. They were made by The Manhattan Brewing Company. These were also found on beer bottles, liquor bottles, on packages of bread, on a store display to include for luck with a Serviceman’s war letters, and perhaps later in gumball machines. There is a very wide range of subject matter on these charms including animals, sports, symbols, household objects, military, and more. Some are solid colors and some are translucent. All (100) of these charms for one price! To judge the sizes, the green globe charm at the bottom left measures about 5/8'' tall. They appear to be in mint unused condition as pictured.
