It states that “THIS FLEET OF SEVEN RADAR EQUIPPED SUPER MODERN BAY STEAMERS IS USED TO MAINTAIN FAST SERVICE.”. The ferry was used for passengers, horses, mules, bicycles, motorcycles, automobiles, trucks, and trailers, up to 80 feet long. These included the following ferries: S.S. POCAHONTAS
