The first picture shows five of the six sides of the display box. The bottom is blank. The box is not flattened all sides were scanned. This box is for NECCO 5c Chocolate Peppermints and is dated 1936. It was put out by The New England Confectionery Company of Cambridge, Massachusetts. It came from a candy jobber company that has long since been out of business. It measures 8-1/4" x 4-1/8" x 5-1/2".

The second picture shows the display box opened and the diecut lid folded back as it would have been displayed. The inner side flaps are inside. Of course the other sides and front would show too. Opened it shows the top eight of the 24 smaller boxes that are inside. All of the smaller boxes are empty and without staining from candy. They were emptied in the 1930's. The Jobber company this came from kept examples of packaging for all the candies they sold. This was their example piece!

The third picture shows examples of all sides of the smaller boxes. There are (24) of these smaller boxes that fit into the display box and ALL of the originals are included here. They each measure 4" x 1-1/4" x 1-1/4".
