These coins are not dated but they are believed to be from the late 1970s or early 1980s. They are from a Post Cereal set of (39) aluminum Presidential Coins. They were given out in specially marked Post Cereal boxes. One of these is unopened, and it also contains a Post Super Super Sugar Crisp Cereal coupon inside as well. These have details of each of the Presidents on the back, as well as a facsimile signature, a wreath, anda United States of America Seal. The fronts of these, in the order pictured, are marked as follows: JAMES MADISON

Five of these appear to be in near mint to mint condition. The John Tyler coin has a spot of blood red paint on the back as pictured. It may be able to be removed, but we do not know for sure. |
