| | | The pictures show a front and back view of all (10) 1896 Sweet Caporal Cigarette Premium Celluloid Pin Back Buttons With Sayings in this lot. These pinback buttons were part of an 1896 collection of pinback buttons that we had acquired. They were used as a premium with packages of Sweet Caporal Cigarettes. They appear to be from the same set. It is unknown how many are in the complete set. There are some duplicates here. Each of these pinback buttons have a saying or slogan from the Victorian era. Each is also marked ''SWEET CAPORAL CIGARETTE'' on the front. One in this lot is slightly different with no advertising on the front and no marking on the back. In the order pictured, they have the following sayings:
