The picture shows all (6) 1930's Connecticut Artist Made Greeting Cards in this lot. Four of these are etching prints and one is a photographic print. These are all from the same person. From left to right, the first one has white water over a rocky shoreline. It is marked as follows: GREETINGS FROM THE WHITES OF WATERFORD The second one is of an old mill with a water wheel by a river with trees. It is marked as follows: GREETINGS FROM THE WHITES THE OLD MILL NEW LONDON (signed) E. HENRY C. IDA + NELSON The third one has water crashing on the shoreline rocks. It is marked as follows: GREETINGS FROM THE WHITES OF WATERFORD The fourth is of a house with trees and a rowboat in the foreground. It is marked as follows: GREETINGS FROM THE WHITES OF WATERFORD 1937 The fifth card is of a house built on a rocky shore line. It is marked as follows: GREETINGS FROM THE WHITES OF WATERFORD (dated on back) 1932 The last one in this lot is a photographic print of three young boys in suits holding hats. Behind them are trees and the water. It is marked by hand (on another panel not pictured) as follows: GREETINGS FROM THE WHITES OF WATERFORD ~ 1939 ~ To judge the sizes the the largest one (bottom middle) measures 6-1/2" x 5". They range from excellent to mint as made condition. These are ready for framing. |
