The pictures below show larger views of all (6) Different Small Colorful Old Pretty Lady Art Prints in this lot. These paper prints are not dated but they are old. These were found in an old estate amongst many old photo carte de visites (CDV) and cabinet cards. They each show what appear to be Victorian women in dresses, single, or in pairs, at the doors of old homes. We do not know how these were acquired. Our best guess would be that they they were either ordered as small prints for framing, or they may have been destined to be used on old advertising premium calendars. They do not show signs that they were used. The backs are blank. The colorful images are printed on paper and they are mounted, at the tops, on to card stock paper. If you lift the images up, the card under them are marked as follows: © THE OSBOURNE COMPANY, NEWARK, N.J. & TORONTO, ONT. Each print has a caption at the bottom. In the order that they are pictured, they are marked as follows: © O.CO. - A VISITOR FROM LONG AGO © O.CO. - WHEN PRISCILLA WENT A CALLING © O.CO. - OLD FASHIONED NEIGHBORS © O.CO. - WHEN BONNET STRINGS WERE HEART STRINGS © O.CO. - THE SWEET SIMPLICITY OF OLDEN DAYS © O.CO. - WHEN GRANDMA SANG IN THE CHOIR These each measure about 4-1/4'' x 5-1/4''. They appear to be in near mint to mint condition as pictured, except the second one has some light creasing. |
