The figural bank is not dated, but the Pizza Hut Pete advertising character was used by the Pizza Hut restaurant from 1958 to 1967. There is a coin slot on the top of his hat, and a slot to retrive coins on the bottom, There is no cover for the bottom slot, but any tape would work well. It is marked on the front and bottom as follows: PIZZA HUT
