| The pictures below show two larger views of this 1947 - 1948 Gold Soccer Ball Sports Award Necklace Charm or Pendant with Chain. The soccer ball charm could be gold, gold filled or gold plated. It is not marked and it has not been tested. The gold charm is from a soccer championship and it has an engraved year and name. We do not know if it is the player's first or last name, or the team name. It has the lines and stitches of an older soccer ball. The charm has a loop at the top and it is marked as follows: CHAMPIONS

RAPHAEL The pendant is on the gold filled chain that it was on when it was found. The chain is marked: MFG. CO.
1/20 12K G.F. The ball charm measures about 5/8'' wide and the chain is about 19-1/2'' long. The ball and chain together weigh 6.9 grams. It appears to be in excellent or better condition as pictured. It could be easily polished if desired. |
