The pictures below show larger views of this Colorful 1930s Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Toy Prize Basket Making Kit In A Greeting Card. The kit is also shown outside the card. This toy prize is not dated, but it was used as a prize in Cracker Jack Boxes in the 1930s. This is a fine example of a different way of marketing a small novelty toy. The miniature basket making kit comes in an unopened envelope marked “BASKET MAKING” that pictures the basket.

The card features a young Native American Indian girl making one of the baskets. The kit is tucked into a slot inside the card. The card is marked as follows:

A TISKET, A TASKET,
A PRETTY LITTLE BASKET –

WHILE YOU ARE GETTING BETTER,
YOU, TOO, CAN MAKE A BASKET!
JUST WATCH THE LITTLE INDIAN!

SEE BACK PAGE FOR INSTRUCTIONS ON
HOW TO SET UP INDIAN BASKET.

HOPE YOU WILL SOON GET OVER BEING SICK,
THEN YOU CAN SHOW YOURE FRIENDS YOUR BASKET TRICK!

HERE ARE SOME PRETTY LITTLE COLORED STICKS - -
STAND THEM IN THE CARDBOARD, ONE BY ONE - -
WEAVE ALL THE PAPER STRIPS IN AND OUT - -
FIRST THING YOU KNOW, YOUR BASKET IS DONE!

4733 MADE IN U.S.A.

The closed get well greeting card measures about 4-3/4'' x 4-3/4''. The basket making kit is unopened and in mint unused condition. The card has some light spotting from handling and age as pictured.
