The ashtray and box are not dated, but it is believed to be from the 1950s or the 1960s. It was “MADE IN HONG KONG” as marked on the box and the ashtray. The box pictures the ashtray with a cigarette on the metal holder. The tin ashtray slides open like an old match box, and a spring loaded cigarette holder pops up. The box and the ashtray are marked as follows: CHESTERFIELD CIGARETTES

CHOICE QUALITY To judge the sizes the closed metal ashtray measures about 1-9/16'' x 2-1/4'' x ¾'' and the box is slightly larger. They appear to be in near mint to mint unused condition as pictured. |
