| | | The pictures below show larger views of all (4) pages of this Old World Premiere Blonde Beautiful and Blue Musical Comedy U.S. Air Force Base Program Flyer. This program is not dated but it is believed to be from around 1941. This show took place at the Scott Air Force Base, in Shiloh Valley Township, Illinois. The front of the program features a bellhop looking pretty lady in a uniform. This original two act musical comedy was by “The Leonards”, produced by Roger Oliver, and Directed by Billie Cavenah with music by The Leonards and Will Holt, with orchestrations by Myron Birnbaum. The 528th Orchestra was conducted by Frank Weirauch. The program has the Cast in the order of appearance, The Scenes, Musical Synopsis the Story of “Blonde, Beautiful and Blue”, the members of the Orchestra, and the staff. The closed program or flier measures about 6'' x 9-1/2''. It appears to be in fair used condition with over all wrinkling, two folds, and an old stain at the bottom of all four pages as pictured. |
