These are believed to have been made in the 1930s or 1940s by Marx. They were part of a set of cork gun targets of different country Soldiers. When they were shot and knocked down, points (in this case 20 each) would show on the bottom. These are marked on the bottoms as follows: 20

MADE IN U.S.A. They are made of steel. The back of one of these is red and the other is dark green or black. Both of these for one price! The target figures each measure about 3-1/2'' tall. These appear to be in good condition with some wear from use as pictured. |
