The pictures show a front and back view of the (12) Different Unused & Attached ©1976 American Bicentennial 1776 - 1976 Post Cards in this lot. These Historic souvenir postcards came from the collection of someone on the Committees in Philadelphia for the Bicentennial Celebration in 1976. They had been packed away ever since that time.

On the fronts of these are colorful images for the Bicentennial with the titles on the backs. In the order pictured, they include the following:

Manuscript copy, Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson, 1776, Congress's changes noted in margin by Richard Henry Lee and Arthur Lee.

Congress Voting Independence, painting Robert Edge Pine and/or Edward Savage, c. 1788-95.

Map of City of Philadelphia and its environs, Peter C. Varle, c.1796,engraving Robert Scot.
