The picture shows a view of this Colorful ©1897 New York Commissioners of Fisheries Game & Forest Fish Print. The print is on card stock paper and the back is blank. The Artists facsimile signature ''DENTON'' is printed on the art. The detail and color of this artwork is great. It had been kept hidden from sunlight for well over a hundred years. It is now available and ready for matting and framing. This print would look nice in any home, especially a nice camp or lodge.

This print or plate was once in an 1897 book entitled ''Second Annual Report of The Commissioners of Fisheries, Game and Forest, Albany, New York''. We no longer own the book, so we can not give any more details on it. The book had contained (14) beautiful color plates and this is one of them. In the book there were (3) bird prints, (9) fish prints, and (2) with shells, and a starfish. This print is marked as follows:

FEMALE SUNAPEE TROUT OR AMERICAN SAIBLING.
(Salvelinus Alpinus Aureolus. Bean.)
Denton

The print or plate measures 11-1/4'' x 8-3/16''. It appears to be in mint condition as pictured.
