The pins are not dated and the year that they were made is unknown. The pins are made of different patterns. The bottom three appear to be from the same maker. The pins are made of a silver colored metal. We do not see any markings and it has not been tested for silver or gold. In the order pictured, these are marked as follows: (no marking)

TOWLE These may have been an advertising premium from a silverware manufacturer, but we do not know for sure. All four of these for one price! The brooch pins measure about 2-1/2'' long. They appear to be in mint condition as pictured. The top spoon is not tarnished as the picture below suggests. It was tipped up and the lighting was different. |
