The picture shows a view of this ©1989 Gum Ball Machine Prize Advertising Header Card. This is actually more then a card. There is an attached box as well that holds the prizes. This is one of the displays that goes inside a gumball machine to entice children to spend their (or more likely their parents) spare change. This one is from an old 50 cent machine. The card has has a die cut window with a clear covering. Behind it is a box with an insert that holds (3) colorful 39;39;Fun Popper39;39; toys (tiny balls not included). Apparently these would fire tiny balls. One of these prizes is a razor knife, one is a pencil, and one is a pencil in a pencil sharpener. The prizes could be removed from the box if desired. It is complete as it was made. The display pictures kids in a school classroom shooting balls at each other with the 39;39;Fun Poppers39;39;. It reads as follows: FUN POPPER 50c CAUTION: SMALL PARTS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN UNDER SIX PRODUCT & PACKAGE DESIGN COPYRIGHT © D.V.S. (DIAMOND VENDING SUPPLY CO., INC.) 1989 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED MADE IN HONG KONG To judge the sizes the header card measures about 939;39; x 8-1/439;39; x 139;39;. The prizes are all in mint unused condition. The display has some wear on the two lower corners as pictured. |
