| | | | The picture below shows a larger view of this Old Miniature Midgetoy Three Car Passenger Die Cast Metal Toy Train. These train cars are not dated but this set is believed to be from the 1950s or 1960s. They have a 1957 patent date inside. The cars appear to be made of die cast aluminum and they are each painted silver. These have plastic rolling wheels with metal axles. Included is a Diesel Engine, a center passenger car, and an end passenger car. They are each marked on the bottom as follows: MIDGETOY

PAT. 2775847 To judge the sizes the train engine or locomotive measures about 4-1/16'' long. They all have their original paint. The cars have some light wear on the paint from play. All of the hitch hooks are intact, but two of them were molded too fat to fit inside another coupling. They could be grounded down to fit. They appear to range from good to excellent condition as pictured. |
