The picture below shows two larger views of this Old Western Germany Ship In A Bottle with Painted Wooden Town Inside. This ship is not dated and the year that it was made is unknown. Inside is a four masted sailing ship along with a shoreline that has a smaller steam boat and a town with (8) buildings, including a Light House, a Wind Mill, a Church with a Clock Tower, and (5) others. They are all painted in detail. One of the paper labels reads “4 – MAST – BARK WITH TOWN”. The starboard side bow has the name “PETER”. To judge the sizes the heavy glass bottle measures about 12-5/8'' x 3-1/4''. The ship and town scene appear to be in mint condition. The screw cap bottle has wear to the paper label as pictured.
