| The pictures shows a view of the (4) Different Old Christian or Catholic Holy Water Religious Items in this lot. The first picture shows all four items and the second picture shows the bottle inside the back of the one on the right. These items had at one time belonged to a few Nuns. Included in this lot are the following items: At the top left is a miniature vial bottle filled with holy water. Below it is a boxed glass bottle with a brass cover. It has a cut out cross and ''HOLY WATER'' on the side. The bottle is empty and maybe unused. The box is blue velvet lined and it is marked ''CREED'' on the blue cover. Next there is a metal wall hanging or plaque with a clear hard plastic container to hold Holy Water. It has an unusual shape with designs all around it. At the top is a cross. The round frame section most likely held a picture of Jesus Christ or a Saint at one time. The back has a mounted metal loop at the top to hang it on a wall. It is marked ''MADE IN FRANCE'' on the back. The fourth and final item in this lot is an old souvenir plaque with a base. It holds a glass Holy Water bottle in the back. The plaque has a raised image of the Virgin Mary holding a Crucifix with Jesus Christ. There is a wreath of flowers above her. This side reads: ''SAINT THERESE PRAY FOR US'' and ''SHRINE OF THE LITTLE FLOWER, ROYAL OAK, MICHIGAN''. The bottle that is inside the back has a metal crown cap and it has a raised cross and ''HOLY WATER''. The bottle is empty. All four of these for one price! To judge the sizes, the box on the left measures about 1-1/8'' x 3'' x 7/8. These old items appear to be in excellent to mint condition as pictured. |
