The medal is dated 1620 - 1970. It is 350th commemorative or anniversary coin of the landing of the ship Mayflower in America in 1620. The medallion appears to be made of bronze. One side features an image of that sailing ship with a crest emblem, and the other side has some of those people on the land after their long voyage, with the ship in the water in the background. It is marked on the two sides as follows: THE PILGRIMS LAND IN THE NEW WORLD
