The pictures show several views of this Colorful & Graphic 1952 Amsco Rockets Away Dart Launcher Toy Game Parts. This Space toy or game is not dated but it is ©1952. It was created and made by The American Metal Specialties Corporation of Hatboro, Pennsylvania.

This space game is being sold for parts. We do not have the original box that it came in. Included here is the graphic and colorful particle board futuristic space city target, the ''Space Station'' rocket launcher periscope, and two of the original plastic rocket ship darts.

The game board has nice space graphics printed on paper and applied to a particle board. They are of the Sun, planets, a comet, futuristic buildings, and rockets or missiles. It has many dart holes all over from use. On the back (see picture #4) there is a crack on the board.

The ''Space Station'' rocket launcher has colorful graphics on four sides with rockets and gauges. They are printed on paper and applied to a cardboard box. It is a vertical periscope with eye holes to look through and a mirror inside to view down at the target board. There are (4) launcher tubes with red wooden pegs to pull to launch the rockets. It is complete, but has some over all wear and some staining on the top from use.

There are two of the four original rockets (yellow and blue) that are included here. The other two that aren't here are green and red. The two plastic rocket darts have sharp metal dart points. The yellow rocket is missing one of the fins, and the blue one is missing two fins.

It is marked on board and the ''Space Station'' launcher box as follows:

(game board)
AMSCO
PATENT PENDING

(rocket launcher)
ROCKET LAUNCHER
SPACE STATION
U.S. PAT. NO. 2359383
AMSCO
AMERICAN METAL SPECIALTIES CORPORATION.
HATBORO, PA.

The ©1952 dated and graphic box with the instructions is not included here. What you see pictured is included only.

To judge the sizes the colorful game board measures 14-7/8'' x 14-7/8''. These parts appear to be in good, but well used condition as pictured and noted in the description above.
