The unique location pictured on the card has a windmill, (10) old gas pumps, 1920s automobiles, another building, old lamp posts, a ''Shell Gasoline'' sign, and other advertising signs including The Windmill Tourist Camp'', Tourist Cottages'', and more. It is marked on the top and bottom as follows: TEA ROOM AND SERVICE STATION. THE WINDMILL TOURIST CAMP, SENECA FALLS, N.Y. 125 MILES EAST OF NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y., ROUTES 5 AND 20 There is more information on the back. The post card was made by Curt Teich & Company, Inc. of Chicago, Illinois. The postcard measures 5-1/2'' x 3-1/2''. The card is unused and it appears to be in excellent condition as pictured, however, on the back there are four paste spots because it was mounted in an old scrap book at one time. |
